We are proud to carry Hannaford brand products and be affiliated with Hannaford’s extensive distribution network. At the same time we are proud to be an independently owned family grocery store which allows us to source additional products from a variety of suppliers including local, regional and even international networks!
Through our relationship with Hannaford, we can offer you the same products that you’ll find in most large metropolitan area and in most cases around the state at the same price or sometimes even better prices. Being affiliated with Hannaford, a 128 year old Maine based company, means we share their incredible buying power and the relationships they have formed with producers, growers and shippers. Hannaford’s success has grown to 180 stores located in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and New York with over 26,000 associates employed.
Hannaford was acquired in 1999 by the Delhaize Group, the 9th largest supermarket chain in the world with 3,400 stores in 11 countries on three continents. Delhaize America has 1,500 stores located on the eastern seaboard of the United States with names such as Hannaford, Food Lion, Bottom Dollar Foods, Reid’s, Harvey’s, Bloom and Sweetbay Supermarkets.
